The term general pedagogical knowledge (GPK) is sometimes used as a synonym so that a distinction can be made between knowledge of how to teach generally and knowledge of how to teach a particular subject area which is usually referred to as pedagogical content knowledge (PCK). Pedagogical content knowledge also is known as craft knowledge. It comprises integrated knowledge representing teachers’ accumulated wisdom with respect to their teaching practice: pedagogy, students, subject matter, and the curriculum. Pedagogical content knowledge must be addressed within the context of a diverse pedagogy. How PCK is Developed quality is the pedagogical knowledge of teachers. Pedagogical knowledge refers to the specialised knowledge of teachers for creating effective teaching and learning environments for all students. This project focuses on the pedagogical knowledge base of teachers and the knowledge dynamics in the Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) was first introduced by Shulman in the 80’s.
